- How long does a typical project take?
- A marketing site with a blog runs four to six weeks. A larger content platform with a custom content model and programmatic pages runs eight to ten. I only take one project at a time, so the date I give you is the date.
- Do you work with existing codebases?
- Yes, if the stack is Next.js or the project is a migration to it. I do not take on maintenance of WordPress or page-builder sites, because I cannot hit the performance and structure guarantees on top of them.
- What do you guarantee on performance and SEO?
- Lighthouse mobile performance of 90 or better and an SEO score of 100 on the homepage, an article and a case study, measured on the production deployment. Every template validates in Google's Rich Results Test with no errors. If it does not, I keep working until it does.
- Why Sanity rather than WordPress or a headless CMS I already have?
- Sanity models content as structured data rather than HTML blobs, which is what makes semantic rendering, reference-based internal links and reliable structured data possible. If you already run a headless CMS with a comparable model, I will work with it — I will just be honest about the trade-offs.
- Do you write the content as well?
- For the SEO content engagement, yes — architecture, editorial standards and a launch set of articles. For ongoing publishing, I usually build the system and train your team, because a voice that is yours will always outperform one that is rented.
- What does it cost?
- Projects start at £2,800 for a content engagement and £8,000 for a full design and build. Everything is fixed-price against a written scope, invoiced 50% up front and 50% on launch. No hourly billing and no change-order games.
